October 25, 2024 - Buses depart Camp by 10:30am

Registration forms will be distributed the week of August 26th in their Science class.

Students can turn in their completed Registration form and payment to Ms. Erica in the AP Office. The cost of 6th grade camp is $455. Checks can be made payable to Meadowbrook Middle School. Our goal is for every 6th grade student to be able to participate, therefore financial assistance is available.

If you would like to send your student mail at camp, all letters should be mailed to camp by Thursday, October 17th.

The Camp Medication Authorization Form should be submitted to our Health Technician, Ms. Utz as soon as possible.

• All Medications taken at camp NEED DOCTORS ORDERS & SIGNATURES
• Medications MUST be sent up in original prescribed/bought containers
• Only send up the amount of medication needed for the camp stay—5 DAYS worth max

Your child's medications should be submitted to our Health Technician, Ms. Utz by Monday, October 14th. Parents will need drop off medication with our Health Tech, Ms. Utz. We are available to accept forms and answer any questions in the main office from 7:30am to 3:00pm; late start Wednesdays 8:50am to 3:00pm.

A reminder your student may not carry any medication, prescription or over-the-counter with them or in their luggage.

• Monday, October 21st, our luggage truck will be available for you to drop off luggage between 8:00 A.M. and 8:30 A.M..
• To help alleviate morning drop off traffic, students attending 6th Grade Camp are to be dropped off in front of the school between 8:00 A.M. and 8:30 A.M. on Monday morning.
• If your student rides the bus, they will need a ride to school on Monday morning as camp gear is not allowed.
• Students will unload their luggage, say a quick goodbye, and then immediately report to the Meadowbrook Gym no later than 8:30 A.M..
• School buses are scheduled to depart by 8:30 A.M..

• We will update you when the school buses have arrived to Camp Cuyamaca.

• Students will return to Meadowbrook between 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM on Friday, October 25th.

• Students will not return to classes and must be picked up no later than 12:00 P.M.. Students are not allowed to walk home after returning from camp.

• Students who attend afternoon ASES, please contact our ASES Supervisor, Terry Tu to inform our ASES team if your Student will stay with ASES for the afternoon.

• The Meadowbrook parking lot will be closed to allow for our 5 school buses and luggage truck to enter the parking lot. Please plan to park on Meadowbrook Lane and Eisenhower Ave. The parking lot will reopen once the buses exit the parking lot.

• We will update you when the school buses depart camp and are on their way back to Meadowbrook with an approximate arrival time.
