April 7 ☔🌷🐰
Notes from the Principal's Desk
Dear Parents,
As we enter our final week before a much-needed Spring Break, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for your continued support. Our students have been working hard, and this break is a wonderful opportunity to recharge, relax, and enjoy quality time together as a family.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back, rested and ready to learn, on Tuesday, April 22. Wishing you a joyful and refreshing break!

Earth Day 2025 Art Contest
Our Power, Our Planet 🌍
Noble is hosting a Recycled Art Contest in celebration of Earth Day 2025: Our Power, Our Planet. This theme champions renewable energy and promotes awareness of solar, wind, hydroelectric, geothermal and tidal generated energy.
Submissions must be 100% composed of fully recycled/reused materials. Glue, paint, tape, screws & other fastening devices are not included in the 100% recyclable criteria. The subject matter is open to interpretation as long as recycled materials are used.
Please bring the artwork along with a filled-out submission form to room
22 (Mrs. Glass). Submissions are due on April 8th and will be displayed in the media center.
The winner will be announced on Earth Day: April 22, 2025. Judging will be based on visual impact, creativity and use of recycled materials by a panel of judges on Friday, April 11th.
Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. Please see Mrs. Glass, Mrs. Pitroff, Ms. Kevitz or Mrs. Cooley for contest details or a submission form.

Scholastic Book Fair - THIS WEEK
Please support our book fair. The proceeds from the book fair enable our media center to purchase new books for our students. The fair will be open Monday-Thursday from 8am-3:40pm and on Friday from 8am-10am. The children will all have allotted times to visit during school that week (ELA class) and we will also be open every morning before school starts a lunch/recess. Rachel Kerlin is our PTA Book Fair chairperson. If you’re interested in volunteering with the fair, please see attached link for sign up genius or reach out to her directly at rachelkerlin@gmail.com. Thank you for your support!

2025 Freedom School
Freedom School is open to rising 3rd – 8th grade students that attend a public school in the New Hanover County School District. Our Freedom School will take place June 16, 2025 to July 25, 2025! Programming is free and runs on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and bus transportation in partnership with New Hanover County Schools. Scholar applications will be released on April 21, 2025.
We believe in an intergenerational leadership model. That’s why our program is staffed primarily by college students and recent college graduates, with at most a 10:1 child to adult ratio. As a result, many children and youth make significant gains in reading achievement and don’t experience any summer learning loss.
