Tuesday, August 27th Second day of school pictures
Friday, August 30th Start attending LHS sports!
Regular Schedule Begins This Week With the end of Launch Week, we now move into our regular daily schedule, listed below:
Help Us Know Your Students We would love to know your child as well as possible so we can better serve them. Many of our students do not go by the name in our electronic systems. Some students go by their middle names, for example. “Williams” are sometimes “Bill” or “Billy.” As a principal, it is important to me to know your students and their individual needs. THIS FORM can help us do that. Please feel free to fill out this form for each of your children so we can know them just a little bit better. Share only what you feel needs to be shared.
Traffic Reminders After a week of observation, I wanted to remind everyone: While parent drop-off should be done in front of the main entrance, it is better for parents to pick up at the Commons. The traffic leaving campus from the Commons lot is much better in the afternoon. Also, please remember: It is illegal and dangerous to sit on the shoulder of Lindbergh Boulevard and wait for your child. We have already had students express concern that they cannot see when they pull out onto Lindbergh. PLEASE...do not do this for the safety of our students and parents!
Lindbergh Lights the Way Senior Fund! The Senior Fund is designed to support Lindbergh high school seniors who may be facing financial challenges as they prepare for their milestone year. This fund aims to ensure that every senior can fully participate in cherished traditions by providing assistance for essentials such as cap and gown, yearbook, prom tickets, and project graduation celebrations. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of these students, making their senior year unforgettable. Join us in empowering our seniors to celebrate their achievements without financial burden by making a donation at https://bit.ly/LHSSeniorFund. LHS Marketing Students Gain Real World Experience As we start this new school year, we also celebrate our success from 2023-24. Real-world learning experiences play a key part in the student experience at Lindbergh Schools. For the first time last school year, marketing students here at LHS were given the opportunity to work alongside real business owners thanks to the Squads Abroad International program. https://youtu.be/77seVl3cBTU
In Search of Merit Scholarships Colleges award thousands of dollars of scholarships and grants to students every year. In fact, this funding from colleges makes up the majority of financial aid awarded to students. As you are researching colleges and deciding which colleges are a good fit for you, it is important to compare how much merit scholarship aid is usually given by those colleges. Join us for our September M4C webinar to learn how to look for this information as part of your college research. If you are a freshman, sophomore or junior, this will be helpful information as you begin your research and post high school planning. If you are a senior, this will be helpful as you are making decisions about which colleges to apply to in the months ahead.
