A Message from Mrs. Powers
I am coming with bittersweet news. The Powers family will be moving to South Carolina this summer. I have spent the last 10 years at Franconia and they have been filled with smiles, laughter, hugs, fun and games! From the staff to the kids to the families, I have been so blessed to have had you a part of my life. Our family of five is gearing up for the biggest move of my life for a wonderful job opportunity for Mr. Powers and an opportunity to be able to learn and explore more about another part of this amazing country! The decision came with many tears about leaving Franconia. I have loved each of your children. They have all made an impact on me and my teaching for the better. That is a huge tribute to all the parents who have raised them into such amazing kids that I get lucky to spend time with every week. Thank you for allowing me that time with your kids. It is hard to say goodbye. I wish them each the best in the future and I have cherished each day with them and will continue to as this wonderful school year comes to an end. Have a wonderful summer!
How lucky I have been to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.
With love,
Allison Powers

Franconia Lip Sync Update
It's hard to believe it's been a month since Franconia's Lip Sync. Thank you to the 70 students, 28 volunteers, and all the teachers that made this event such a success! We could not have done it without you! If you really enjoyed the night and would be willing to help run this beloved event, please email Monica Jalboot (who will be graduating from Franconia for the last time in 2024) at thejalboots@gmail.com.
If you want to watch this year's lip sync, the video has been posted online and can be viewed by following this link. DVD copies of the video are available for purchase for $10 either online or by completing a printed form at this link.

From Dr. Heineck
Our expectation is that all of our students show safety, ownership, acceptance and respect. The teachers, staff members and myself are here to guide our students and help them make positive choices. Part of that is helping them learn from the choices that they make, both positive and negative. From time to time, a student needs support in reaching these expectations. We use green and blue behavioral forms as well as age appropriate consequences to provide teachable moments where students can grow and develop. You will be contacted by a teacher and the behavioral form will be sent home for you to sign and return. If you have any questions about our School Wide Positive Behavior Support plan, please contact your child’s teacher or myself.
In partnership,
Laura Heineck, Ed. D.
Franconia Falcons SOAR to success!
Safety
Using expected behaviors both in and out of the classroom so everyone feels comfortable and supported at school.
Ownership
Taking responsibility for choices and actions at school and showing pride in yourself and your work.
Acceptance
Treating peers and others with respect and kindness while embracing our differences.
Respect
Caring how your actions impact others and yourself.
Attendance Reminder
It is important that the school receives notification of a student's absence for that day.
Please know that emails accomplish both notifying and excusing your child(rens) absence.
To report an absence, please contact
Mrs. Wett at attendFR@soudertonsd.org.
