The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 PM at the Montgomery High School Gymnasium, located at 3250 Palm Ave, San Diego, CA 92154. Students must arrive 45 minutes prior to the ceremony at 5:15 PM with Cap and Gown "On Hand"

• Can I decorate my cap? No. If you come to the ceremony with a decorated cap, you will get a loaner cap that is not decorated.
• Can I wear any non-school approved addition to my gown (sashes, cords, leis, etc.) during the ceremony? No. During the ceremony ONLY school approved additions to the gown are allowed. AFTER the ceremony, you can add additions to the gown.

• Is there a dress code for graduation? This is a formal occasion, so even though you will be wearing a gown during the ceremony please dress appropriately for the event. Cell phones, electronic devices, flowers, balloons, noise makers, laser pointers, sharp or dangerous objects, and any other item that might cause disruption during the ceremony are not allowed. Please walk in carrying your cap and gown.
• Am I or is my family allowed to bring any celebratory things to graduation? Noisemakers, balloon bouquets, posters or any celebratory materials are NOT ALLOWED in the gymnasium. Staff at the gate will tell you to take them back to the car if you show up with them.
• Is there a limit to how many guests I can bring? There is no limit on the number of guests you can bring.
• Where should my family park their cars for graduation? Parking is limited, so it is recommended to carpool to the ceremony. Parking is available in front of the school and to the left of the school in the designated parking lot.
• Where shall I meet my family after the ceremony? Students can meet their family and friends outside the gymnasium near the front entrance.
