We have loved having our Rays back on campus. This week we took some staff and students to the board meeting to present on how staff empowerment leads to student ownership of learnng. We are excited to have engineers from Firefly and our VRHS cheerleaders coming to Reagan on April 3rd. They will be speaking to students about resilience.

Dear Reagan Families,

It’s that time of year again when we seek your valuable feedback to help us place students in the best possible class for the 2025-2026 school year. We truly appreciate your input!

This form is for ALL current Reagan students in PreK-4th grades. Please note that due to class size constraints for the upcoming school year, we will not be able to accommodate teacher room changes.

When creating class placements, we consider the following factors:

• Equalizing the number of students in all classes
• Addressing student educational and social-emotional needs
• Balancing the number of boys and girls
• Ensuring a mix of student levels and needs within classes
• Gathering input from administration, teachers, and parents

Please be aware that the information you provide will be accessible to both current and next year's teachers, not just the administration. This form is not a request for specific teachers but is designed to communicate your child’s educational needs.

To ensure your input is considered, please submit this form by April 11th. Responses will be turned off at 5:00 PM on April 11, 2025.

We are excited to welcome our community to enroll for Pre-K, New-students, & Kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year. Enrollment will open on April 1, 2025. Parents must enroll online. Our campus will be open from 7:30 am until 4 pm on April 3, 2025 for registration. We will be hosting campus tours and answering any questions during this time.

We are so excited to host our annual International Fair at Reagan again this year! With much consideration, we have made the following changes to the program:

1. This event will be for 1 day only. (Friday May 2nd)

2. In an effort to promote student ownership of learning, we will only be allowing students to present during the school day. Since this will be occurring during specials rotations, parent volunteers will not be needed until the evening portion of the event. We are asking that all students submit their presentation to Mrs. Pennington for approval prior to the event. Once approval has been given, Mrs. Pennington, the student, and their parents will work with each students' teachers to gain permission to miss 1 day of class. (They will still get lunch and recess time.)

3. In the event that multiple students sign up for the same country, we will create a schedule that allows everyone a chance to present.

4. We will still host the evening portion of the event from 5:00 - 7:00 on May 2nd. Parents and community members are welcome to present during this time and bring in food samples from their country.

5. The deadline to sign up is Wednesday, April 9th.
