- Staff Meeting Day. The first school Monday of each month our staff gather together, which means all students are dismissed at 2:30pm. Please ensure that your child knows their safe plan to get home before the end of the day.

Tuesday Sept. 10

-3:15-4:30PM Volleyball practice for interested students in grades 6-8. Please watch for paperwork that will be coming home. We have many hopeful students who are excited to be on our team, but we are still seeking a parent or community member who is willing and able to coach our team with the help of a staff representative. Please contact Mr. Stewart or Mrs. Squires in the office if you're able to lend a hand ASAP!

Friday Sept. 13

-Potential School Opening Mass! We are pleased to welcome Father Micheal who is now our resident Priest for the Immaculate Conception Church! As Father is just settling in, we are starting to plan this Mass, with time and date to be confirmed.

- Come cheer on our Saints as our Volleyball team competes right here in St. Mary's school gym in a local Jr B Volleyball tournament Friday evening and Saturday. Go Saints Go!

Our first day of school is always busy, and a whole lot of fun! At our school’s opening assembly, we learned that together, we can untangle any KNOTS in our path and BALANCE our learning, friendships, health, and faith!

Students and staff spent the week establishing routines, goals for the year, and diving right back into learning! We are in for a fantastic year of growing together!

We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who joined us at our annual Meet The Staff BBQ! It was wonderful to see so many friendly faces and share great conversations as we reconnected with families, both old and new.

A big shout-out to our staff who volunteer to make events like this possible, Mrs. Squires and Mrs. Nelson for orchestrating the chaos, and to our grill master Mrs. Sage-Oake who battled the heat to feed the masses!

We look forward to many more opportunities to come together throughout the year. Thank you for being part of our amazing Saints community!

Students are required to use their assigned doors for entering and exiting the building. Outdoor supervision begins at 8:23 a.m. on the playground and in the bus turnaround area.

We kindly request that parents refrain from parking along the forest/ditch side of the parent turnaround, as this could lead to students crossing in front of school buses. Please be sure to drop off and pick up curb-side only. Additionally, parents should not enter the bus turnaround located next to the playground.

Our students are excited to return to school, and we ask for extra vigilance from all drivers in our school zone.

For those who have previously applied online for bussing and have received a confirmation email from our transportation department, bus passes will be distributed on the first day if they haven't already been picked up. Students who ride First Student busses require a bus pass to ride, students who ride Peace Wapiti buses do not require bus passes.

St. Mary's does not charge base fees for the academic year, however, certain programming does have fees attached.

Fees for our Pre-K program are due monthly by the 5th of each month. Parents of PreK students are encouraged to contact the office if they have not yet established PowerSchool accounts.

Junior High CTS classes will be invoiced and emailed home in September. Statements will reflect fees for the whole year, however, only fees associated with Term 1 will be due on September 28th.

Extra Curricular and sports teams also have fees attached, and are due before the first event for each team.

Fees can easily be paid online through the PowerSchool Parent portal, or in person in the office. Please don't hesitate to contact the office if you have any questions or would like to make arrangements for payment.
