Intermediate South Administration and Staff wish all our Seminole families a very Happy and healthy Thanksgiving.

We had a month filled with gratitude from, "The Great Seminole Food Drive", to writing letters of gratitude to staff, family and friends, filling gratitude jars, our monthly Mentor Activity, and much more.

We are grateful for the support of our Seminole families, parents, staff members, students, and community.

Congratulations to Mr. Scott Simmons, paraprofessional for being selected as Toms River Intermediate South Employee of the Quarter for Marking Period I. Mr. Simmons is well-respected by the students and his coworkers. He comes to work each day with a smile on his face, a positive attitude, and a willingness to face any challenge that comes across his way. We are so lucky to have Mr. Simmons here at the Home of the Seminoles. (This is his second year in a row being selected by his coworkers as Employee of the Quarter).

Brayden Ekerling - Nominated by Mrs. Schumann - Brayden holds every door for the person/people behind him without being asked.

Noah Johnson - Nominated by Mrs. Guarnieri - Noah helped a student pick up her belongings after she tripped up the stairs and her pencil case opened and spilled everywhere. Way to go, Noah!

Dieby Jaramillo - Nominated by Mrs. Dugan - Dieby stayed a few minutes after dismissal to help the custodians put chairs up in the classroom.

Yaretzi Thalia Pena Uroza - Nominated by Mrs. Dugan - Yaretzi stayed a few minutes after dismissal to help the custodians put chairs up in the classroom.

Dominick Applegate - Nominated by Mrs. Dugan - Dominick stayed a few minutes after dismissal to help the custodians put chairs up in the classroom.

Santiago Bermudez Sucerquia- Nominated by Mrs. Brink and Mrs. Daniel - Santiago helped translate for one of our ML students and offered to translate for any new student that needs support to help them feel more comfortable.

Kelsey Russell - Nominated by Mr. Mooney and Ms. Woodruff:

• Mr. Mooney said that Kelsey regularly helps with classroom tasks without being asked.
• Ms. Woodruff said that Kelsey volunteered to clean up the garbage on the floor after the classroom trash can overflowed. She also offered to let a new student copy her notes when he could not see the board.

Please note: The girls will be dressed in the gray gowns & the boys will be dressed in the blue gowns.
