Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I want to wish all of you and your families the very best and enjoyable break full of great food, memories, and time together. Extended breaks are great times for our students to fully unwind and take a deep breath from their busy schedules and recharge to start 2025.

This week I would like to celebrate:

• The 8th grade PE staff and students who tried the new experience of curling. They approached this experience with great attitudes and allowed themselves to enjoy this new experience.

• Mr. Bauer and the Middle School Student Council for hosting a great dance on Friday, December 13, 2024.

• Mrs. Carr and her work towards supporting all students receiving a holiday gift from their Panther Time teacher this year.

• Our substitutes who are willing to come into school and work with our students when our regular staff members cannot be here.

As a reminder tomorrow we will end the day with celebrations in Panther Time classes. Please check with your student to see if they have been asked to donate any items for the celebrations that afternoon. Various students and families have volunteered to bring in items, please be sure to check with your students if they committed to bring something to share.

We will return from break on Thursday, January 2, 2024 for just a short week. We will have two weeks and two days until the end of the quarter and semester. You will see that last week you received an email message on Saturday with a grade and attendance report. Our goal is to continue to improve our communication of important student information with you and this strategy includes the Saturday emails, you will receive these each Saturday morning. You will be able to see if your student is arriving at class on time, if they are absent, and their overall quarter and semester grades. Please use this information to set goals and have discussions with your student.
