LOST AND FOUND
The first of these 3 pictures of our lost and found was from a month or so ago. As you can see, it has grown tremendously these past few weeks. Please ask you student(s) to check for their missing items. Parents, you are welcome to come in and go through these items to locate your student's things.
All items not collected by Friday, May 31st @ 3:00PM, will be donated.
YEARBOOK UPDATE
Parents, Guardians and Students,
Our yearbook company, Balfour, has experienced delays in printing. The yearbooks will not arrive before the last day of school. Balfour will be mailing all yearbooks to the home of everyone who ordered one.
Water for ALL
Thank you to all of the students who donated to this project last week. Over $800.00 was raised to help build and maintain wells so more children in South Sudan can have access to clean water!
TEXTBOOKS
Parents and Guardians,
If your student has a CIS text book, please have them bring them in as soon as possible.
Attention Parents of 6th grade Students:
NO ONE LIKES TO WAIT FOR AN APPOINTMENT! As a reminder, your student will be required to have the Tdap immunization upon entering the 7th grade. Tdap is the immunization that prevents your child from getting the whooping cough. In recent years, whooping cough has been on the rise in the adolescent population. Hence, the required Tdap immunization for all 7th graders.
Many physicians administer Tdap at your child’s 10, 11, or 12 year old appointments. Please call your child’s health care provider NOW to inquire if your student has already had Tdap. If they have, please ask your physician to fax the documentation to 803-575-5721, attention: Nurse Abercrombie.
If you find your child has not had the Tdap, please go ahead and make an appointment! You will AVOID the long appointment wait time and your student will have a smooth transition into 7th grade!
Thank you for allowing us to partner with you in keeping your child healthy!!!
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
