It's November! Do not forget to reset your clocks this weekend. And if you're looking for a way to support your Hawks - The Giver opens tonight and has two shows tomorrow; football has it's last game of the season tonight away against Washougal; girls soccer plays up north against Tumwater; and AAA Boosters is hosting a fun run tomorrow and wrapping up the annual auction!

Speaking of running - we've got nineteen (19!) runners qualify for state cross country. In 2021, we had one. Congratulations to our cross country program for an amazing job! Keep it going!

Weekly Booster Update

Get ready to raise your ‘virtual’ paddle to help us reach our $50,000 goal for Hockinson High School Athletics, Academics, and Activities.

Don’t miss out on Bidding in the HHS Online Auction from October 26 - Nov 2. We have over 200 items available, and the funding helps each of the programs that solicited items for this event. Don’t miss the chance to win Reserved 2025 Graduation or Football Home Game seating and parking, Hawk Gear, Gift Cards, Seahawk and other Game Tickets, Lavish Vacations, and Baskets Galore!

There are also opportunities to donate to your favorite teams and groups or our Make a Difference item, “Launch Experiences.” This project will benefit all of the school's students and enter you into a drawing to win additional fun prizes!

Students who expressed interest in World Language Competency Testing received emails today with details for the test on November 5.

This week, Zachary Chung, a senior in the football program, is the Athlete of the Week! Great job, Zachary!

What an incredible list! In 2021, we had one runner qualify for state. ONE! This year, we've got 19! Congratulations to our runners and coaches!

Thank you so much to our fall sports volunteers. You are instrumental in the success of our programs and growth of our kids. Thank you!

What a great event! Thank you to our NHS advisors, Mrs. Brinkman and Mrs. Broer, and our NHS members for organizing a safe and dry night of trick-or-treating. We're looking forward to doing this again in the future.

Hockinson Theatre Company's production of The Giver opens next week! Over 40 Hockinson High School students are involved in this production and have been working incredibly hard for the past six weeks. In The Giver, a seemingly perfect, controlled society eliminates pain and strife by erasing all personal memories of the past. When young Jonas is chosen to inherit the position of Receiver of Memory, he uncovers the dark secrets beneath the surface and must decide whether to embrace conformity or risk everything for the chance at true freedom. This powerful story explores the cost of safety and the value of individuality.

HHS hosted a fabulous Fall Concert for the Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble with our friends from Washougal High School on Tuesday night. We love sharing this 13 year tradition.

Support the HHS Band with your wreath (or other winter arrangement) purchase! Pre-order now through 11/6 and pickup in the band room on 11/23.

A limited supply of wreaths, blankets, beanies, and homemade treats will be available at the HHS Music Boosters booth at the Hockinson Bazaar 11/23.
