General Annoucements
Spartan Food Pantry
Spartans, The Spartan Pantry will be open on Wednesday, April 23 and Wednesday, April 30. Please note that we will be closed after these dates and will reopen on May 28. Also, please remember to check in with the front office after school ends at 2:17 PM. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. Detention
In order to be eligible to attend extracurricular activities, including sporting events and dances, your student needs to clear all detentions. If your student owes detention, please encourage your student to serve them. Detentions are held Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30, Wednesdays from 2:30-3:30 and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 in the Intervention Center.
Ambassador Applications
Help us find current sophomores and juniors who would make good ambassadors for our upcoming freshman class. Students must apply by April 30th and attend a mandatory meeting on May 6th.

Prom
Prom tickets are now on sale in the SBO for $65. Prom will be at The Grand Oak Event Center in Turlock on May 3rd from 8-11pm. Prices go up on April 21st.
Spring Spirit Week
April 28-May 2- Please check students in for spirit each day so they can earn 5Star points! Remember you check them in via the calendar on 5Star. Each dress up day is listed as an event.
Monday: Beach attire- wear floaties, sandals, and sunglasses
Tuesday: Bikers vs. Surfers
Wednesday: Wipe out Wednesday- dress as a sea creature
Thursday: Flamingos/ Pink out
Friday: Class colors- 9th= orange; 10th= yellow; 11th= purple; 12th= blue
Powderpuff Game
Thursday, May 1st at Downey stadium. Junior vs Senior game kicks off at 6:30pm with our powderpuff cheerleaders performing at halftime. You don't want to miss out!
Prom Ticket Raffle
The winner of the Prom ticket raffle will be drawn on Wednesday, April 30. Self-redeem your 5-star points now to enter.
SUN bucks
SUN bucks is a food program that will give families a maximum of $120 per eligible child to buy groceries during the summer. SUN bucks will not affect immigration status! Modesto City Schools does not share confidential or personal identifiable information with outside agencies or officials.

Our final distribution of free dresses and shoes is tonight, Monday, April 28th from 6-8pm in the SBO. This is everyone's last chance to get a free dress or shoes for prom!

End of the Year Rally
Friday, May 2nd- Please bring your classes over to the gym after 7th period. We will be on a rally schedule. This is our rally where we celebrate the seniors and then rotate the classes to their new spot. Please help us get students to this momentous rally!
