Please join for the community pep rally. We moved the location to the High School Gym due to field conditions from the excessive rain. We look forward to seeing you in the gym tonight.

Our first Friay Fun Day of the 6 weeks was a success! The students reported that it was a lot of fun. There were crafts, movies, minute-to-win-it games, kickball, and more. We look forward to continuing to create a positive space for our Jackets to honor their hard work and good attendance.

Many juniors and seniors had an opportunity to visit Tarleton last week. We are very excited to continue to provide field trips in the future for our Yellow Jackets. They represented Meridian so well.

ACT Day is October 29th. All juniors and some seniors will be taking the test. Help your child succeed by sending them in rested to do their best!

• Students are very excited about Esports, which is giving a competitive space for our gamers and competitive players.
• Preseason for our first Esports Team runs now through the 27th
• Regular season is 9/20-11/15

We are inviting all grown-ups who are involved in our Yellow Jackets' lives to join us for donuts. We appreciate your commitment to our students. Come join us at 7:30 AM on Thursday for donuts with grown-ups.

Pep Rallies will take place during Jacket Period for Middle School and High School Football. The times for Jacket period are 10:21 a.m. - 10:51 a.m. We are hoping to be back in the gym in time for our next pep rally!

The students below were selected by their teachers as Student of the Month for their grade level. We are proud of their leadership!

• Tuesday, Sept. 24th, HOCO Parade @ 7:00 P.M., to conclude at the football field for the community pep rally
• Thursday, Sept. 26th, Donuts with Grown-ups (MS/HS Families)
• Friday, Sept. 27th, Alumni Dinner hosted by Sophomores @ MHS Cafeteria
• Friday, Sept. 27th, Homecoming Game starts at 7, with festivities starting @ 6:30. Plan to be at the field by 6:15.
