The Renton High School
Weekly Update 11.1.2024
Happy Friday, RedHawkS,
I hope this week's newsletter finds you well. While this week was shorter than usual due to our staff professional development day today, it was full of fun and learning. On Wednesday our drama club hosted the annual talent show and many of our students shared their talents and passions with a nearly packed house in the IKEA performing arts center. The energy was strong and positive, and we are thankful to the drama club under the direction of Ms. Khelgatian for a fun evening.
This week our ASB also hosted a fun, community event titled Trunk or Treat. Kids and adults from around Renton came through last night, dressed in costumes to get candy and make memories. We appreciate the ASB and staff who supported this exciting event.
Additionally, last night our volleyball team won their first game of the season and on senior night, no less. The energy was amazing, and our seniors were recognized for their achievement both on and off the court. Well done players and coaches!
And finally, two of our cross-country athletes are heading to the state championship in the Tri-Cities next week. Help us wish them well. They have already made us proud!
Please see the important information below and as always, we welcome and appreciate your feedback. Have wonderful weekend!
