Washington, D.C. Trip Scholarship
7th and 8th Grade Families,
If you’re interested in some financial assistance affording the cost of our summer trip to Washington, D.C., make sure you look into this scholarship opportunity provided by our travel partner. The deadline is quickly approaching for the EF Explorer Scholarship.
November 30th is the deadline to be considered. Every year they award $50,000 worth of scholarships to select students from around the country. To be able to award funds to as many students as possible, the award will be $500. Apply here: https://www.efexploreamerica.com/explorer-scholarship

Book of the Month
Our new book of the month will be, The Fort. Students interested in reading the Book of the Month should stop by the library to sign up and check out a copy.
All who participate will be invited to the Discussion with Donuts (including a gluten free option) with Mrs. Brown, the school librarian, and any other staff who participate.
Discussion with Donuts will be held Wednesday, December 4th during TRAIL Time.

Lee's Summit Educational Foundation Student Grants
Middle and High School Students are invited to apply for our Student Grants between now and December 1st!
- Students can receive up to $1,000 in grant funds for supplies, equipment, and resources to support their clubs, activity groups and/or classrooms (grants are for school purposes vs. individual needs)
- Grant concepts and applications MUST come from students (staff members may provide guidance and support)
- Application is through Google Forms and is simple/straightforward. This year's application does involve a video or slide deck component

6th, 7th, & 8th Grade students, do you need Math Homework Help? You are welcome to stay after school any Thursday until 4:15. Meet in Library Collab Lab.
