Hello Hilltopper Families!

It was wonderful to see so many of you at last evening’s Literacy Night festivities. What a fantastic way to wrap up our weeks of reading Fenway and Hattie as part of One School, One Book. I hope you had as much fun playing the games and celebrating our love of reading as I did! Meeting Rookie and his handler, Sergeant Jake Smith from the Geauga County Sheriff Department was a perfect way to end the event! I especially loved how Rookie would slide across the "wicked floor" in the auditorium. What a great text connection to Fenway and Hattie! A special thank you to them for taking the time to visit Park!

As spring break approaches, I hope this time brings you plenty of laughter, relaxation, opportunities to recharge and special moments with your family and friends. Whether you're off on new adventures or simply enjoying quiet time together, I hope your week is filled with joy and wonderful memories. Wishing you all a refreshing and enjoyable break! One school one book has been a lot of fun for our students! Everyone brought in pictures of their pets for their classroom door and we created a Park Pet Wall of Fame! Watch for different pictures each week.

Every Tuesday at Park School will be TOPPER TUESDAY! Join us as Students and Staff wear their Chardon Topper spirit wear or any Red or Black gear you like.

Topper Tickets are part of Park's PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) system. They are given to students as a special recognition when they demonstrate a Topper Trait - Taking Responsibility, Offering Kindness, and Persevering. Each day, we randomly select a few Topper Ticket winners from each grade level to receive a prize! Check the newsletter each week for their names!
