Some Highlights from June and then We Are "On The Go" During the Month of July!!
We had a busy month during June as we embarked on Music and Movement Mondays with Amanda and playgroups on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We learned a lot about bugs, experienced lots of water play, worked on gross motor skills on the playground, and enjoyed the beautiful outdoors. Judy Center friends went on a bug hunt to finish out the bug theme. We caught and released quite a few bugs. It was an exciting day for our bug hunters. We also hosted a "Community Baby Shower" during the month of June in collaboration with the Judy Centers at CHES and GES, MD-EXCELS, Family Center of QAC, Queen Anne's County Library, Queen Anne's County Health Dept., Healthy Families Mid-Shore, WIC, Family Planning, ACCU, the Maryland Children's Health Program, QACPS Migrant Education, Aetna Insurance, Wellpoint Insurance, and Priority Partner Insurance. Fifty-five (55) participants and twenty-eight (28) vendor staff participated in the event. Everyone received special giveaways from the vendors, and fifteen (15) participants received raffle prizes. Everyone really enjoyed the event. Thank you to all the families and vendor staff who participated! It truly takes a village!
Now, we are moving on to the month of July and scaling it back a bit. In July we will be focusing on the theme "On The Go" as we continue Music and Movement Mondays with Amanda and playgroups in the park on Thursdays. The only Thursday we won't meet at the park is July 4th. We hope you have a wonderful time celebrating with family and friends and remember all those who have fought for our freedom and continue to fight for our freedon in the United States of America! Happy 4th of July! We salute all service members and their families, especially on July 4th.

Judy Center Early Learning Hubs serve families of children (birth through age 5) residing within their school's catchment area. They also serve children, who reside anywhere in Queen Anne's County; if a child has an IEP or an IFSP.
