WE LOVE OUR COUNSELORS!
📣 Happy National School Counseling Week! 💙🎉
This week, we celebrate and recognize the incredible dedication of our River Ridge High School Counselors—Kati Kong, Seana Ficklin, Briawnna Brown, and Marci Goodloe! 🌟
Our counselors work tirelessly to support our students academically, socially, and emotionally, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed. Whether they are helping with course selection, college and career planning, or simply providing a listening ear, their impact is immeasurable.
Join us in thanking them for all they do to make River Ridge a place where students feel supported and empowered! 💙🖤 #NSCW2025 #ThankACounselor #RRHSCounselorsRock

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Parents and Students,

On Monday, students received their transcripts and elective forms in homeroom, which they should review carefully while planning their courses for next year. Beginning next Monday, students will meet with their counselors during their literature classes to discuss and finalize their course selections and ensure students are on track for graduation.
In March, families will have the opportunity to review and verify course requests. Please check your email regularly for additional registration information as it becomes available. To support you further, we encourage you to explore the resources below.

REMINDER: MEDICATION
Feb -March
FYI~ Pollen season will be creeping up on us right on the tail of cold/Flu season. This month will be a good time to start taking allergy medications OTC or natural items to help conquer the reactions!
Please keep the nurse informed if your student has an epi pen or inhaler on their person. It is good to know this information in the event of an emergency. Also, please fill out appropriate forms to carry the medication at school.
PLEASE REVIEW MEDIATION POLICY. DO NOT SEND MEDICATION TO SCHOOL WITH your student prescription or OTC in baggy etc. They cannot carry or self-administer! IT MUST BE IN A NEW SEALED BOTTLE OR BLISTER PACK OR THE ORIGINAL PRESCIPTION BOTTLE, CURRENT AND NOT EXPIRED.
Thank you, Nurse Kim
