Please join us in celebrating National School Counseling Week February 3rd-7th as we recognize our own school counselor, Mrs. Gabrielle Baylor.

French Creek will be celebrating the 100th Day of School on Tuesday, February 4th. Students and staff are welcome to dress up as their future 100 year old self.

Starting on February 5, 2025, the Skyward online registration system will be available for you to begin the process of registering your child for kindergarten for the 2025-2026 school year. This year, we’re also excited to share that we will provide Full-Day Kindergarten to all of our Wildcat families for the first time!

All children who live within the OJR School District, and who will attain the age of five on or before September 1, are eligible to attend school for the 2025-26 school year. We invite you to visit the registration website for the latest information about kindergarten registration and to register your child online, starting February 5th. At the end of the online registration process, you will be prompted to make an appointment to complete the registration process at our school on either March 5 or March 6, 2025.

Students and staff are invited to show their love for French Creek by wearing red and white on Friday, February 14th.

All OJR schools and offices will be closed on Monday, February 17th.

Now is your opportunity to recognize your Sixth Grader’s accomplishments — place your child's picture in the school yearbook, along with a note of congratulations! Click here to submit a Shout Out. Payment for Shout Outs must be made via the FCVPTA website under the Forms & Payments section. All Shout Outs and payments are due by Friday, February 21.

We will be celebrating Read Across America March 3rd through March 7th.

In addition to a fun filled Spirit Week, French Creek will also host our Annual Book Swap on Tuesday, March 4th and all OJR elementary schools will participate in our district-wide Read-In on March 7th.

• Spring conferences will be held on Wednesday, March 5th and Thursday, March 6th.
• Students will be dismissed at 12:10 PM.
• AM Kindergarten will report on Wednesday, March 5th (NO PM CLASSES)
• PM Kindergarten will report on Thursday, March 6th (NO AM CLASSES).
• We are respectfully requesting that parents self-select a preferred conference time via a Google calendar link, which will be sent out by your child’s homeroom teacher on Tuesday, February 18th at 8:30 AM.
• The scheduling window will be open Tuesday, February 18th at 8:30 AM through Tuesday, March 4th at 3:00 PM.
• Please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher with any questions or concerns.

Thank you very much for everyone who donated cereal boxes for our STEAM classroom. Mr. Brewer has plenty of cardboard now.
