Have You Reported Your Students' Absence? Have You Reported Your Students' Absence?

When a student is going to be absent for the day for any reason, please remember to call our office that day to report the student's absence. You can reach us at 209-953-8490 or email the attendance clerk at moceguera@lodiusd.net. You have 10 days to clear an absence by providing us with a doctor's note. Otherwise, the absence will remain UNEXCUSED. Keep in mind not all absences are excused by LUSD. If the absence is for medical appointments remember to always ask for a doctor's note. Please have the student bring the doctor's note to the office when they return to school. If the student is late to school they should check into the office first. After the 4th tardy, they will begin to receive lunch detention each time they are late to school. For early pickups keep in mind each period is an absence. The person picking up the student must be on the student's emergency contacts and always show their ID to office staff. We encourage you to schedule student medical/dental appointments after school hours or during school breaks. We understand some early pickups are unavoidable, therefore try to always provide us with a doctor's note within 10 days to clear the medical absence. We appreciate parents working with us to ensure the student is in school daily and on time. If you have any questions about attendance please do not hesitate to contact us. We are here to help.

175th Anniversary of San Joaquin County Art Contest (7-12)

deadline for entries is November 8th

In honor of San Joaquin County's 175th anniversary, they would like to invite middle and high school students (grades 7-12) to design a commemorative logo.

This contest follows a proud tradition: the County Seal was created in 1962 by 14-year-old June Sands of Ripon, California, as part of a high school art contest. Now, they invite a new generation of students to make history again by designing a logo that will be used throughout 2025 to celebrate our county's history.
