MRMS Club Update: This will be the final week of our Fall Club season at MRMS. Thanks to all the students, staff, and community members for your participation. During the interim between club seasons, we will offer open gym with Mr. Webster and Mr. Schaffer on select days, and continue to have our library open in the morning and afternoon. The winter club season will start on 12/9. The winter club brochure will be sent directly to your inbox in the upcoming weeks.
End of Trimester 1: Time is flying by at MRMS and the end of the first trimester is a few weeks away on December 4th. Please help support students by logging into Aspen and reaching out with any concerns.
Welcome Ms. Joseph: Ms. Carline Joseph will be joining the MRMS staff on 11/13 in the role of teaching assistant. As a former teacher herself, we are excited to have Ms. Joseph to our staff!
School Psychologists Week: Join me this week in thanking our amazing school psychologist, Ms. Jillian Scaficchia! We are so grateful to have Ms. Scaficchia at our school. She makes it that much more amazing!
David Byron Award: Congrats to Ms. Gifford for winning the Byron Award! The David Byron Award is a very special award, given by the MAST President to a MAST board member, in recognition of service and support to the organization board and science education in Massachusetts.
Stay in Place: At the middle school we implement Stay in Place for a number of reasons, but typically when we need to keep the hallways clear, or maintain privacy for a community member. When a Stay in Place happens, students and staff remain in their classroom and learning continues as normal. Thank you to all staff and students for working together to get everyone what they need when they need it!
Leadership Shoutout! Thank you to the leadership students who participated in our semi annual grounds sweep. We appreciate all you do to keep our school beautiful and fun!
UA Movie Night: Thanks to all the students and staff who came out for UA movie night!
Robotics Team: Congrats to the MRMS Robotics team who had a great night at the tounament. In a field of 22 teams, they ended the night in 9th place overall! GO SHARKS!
