Digital Learning at Home... How's was Week 2?

What YOU CAN Do to Cope and Stay Well
It can be frustrating, scary, and stressful to be in a situation and feel like there's nothing you can do about it. So, here are several things you CAN do to cope and stay well.
You Can:
1. Do something for Your Future: Start investing some time towards your future goals now. Ideas: Attend Virtual College Tours through https://www.campusreel.org/ , Work on a skill that you want to develop or get back (guitar, ukulele, photography, DuoLingo language app), Create a vision board, Watch tutorials on YouTube and learn, Start an online book club or Bible study.
2. Do something for Your Health: Take care of yourself. Ideas: Take a walk, Cook a healthy meal, Get some exercise, Sit in the sun for a bit, PRAY, Listen to a favorite podcast or upbeat music.
3. Do something for Someone Else: This will always lift you up. Ideas: Reach out to a friend and check in on them, Email a note of thanks to someone who has helped you, Check in on grandparents or the elderly via Facetime.
4. Do something to Stay Connected: Even as we socially distance, we can still stay connected. We are social creatures and need each other. Ideas: Keep up with others through social media, phone calls, texting, online games with friends, and Zoom meet-up's.
5. Do something for Yourself: Think of whatever makes you happy and find ONE THING each day that you can do to make you have a good day. Ideas: Bake cookies, Watch your favorite movie, Paint, Start a journal (this is a historic time and you may want to look back on this experience one day), Make a list of goals you can set and check off, Bust your boredom using ChatterPack.net (a list of free, online, boredom-busting resources).
6. Do something for Your Space: Studies have shown that decluttering helps reduce stress. Ideas: Organize your clothes, Reorganize your room, Order pictures online to put in frames or pin up to brighten up your space.
