Dear Wickham Families,
After eight wonderful years serving as an administrator at Wickham Elementary, I am preparing to say goodbye to this wonderful school to begin a new journey in my life. I have been offered, and accepted, the principal position at Weber Elementary School in the ICCSD.
I am very excited to continue to work for our school district and support students, staff, and families. However, it is incredibly hard for me to step away from Wickham Elementary. Serving as your principal has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and for this, I am profoundly grateful to you. I am taking with me magical memories of all the amazing things that happened during these eight years. I will always keep in my heart your children’s smiles, your great support, and our fun school events. I have found something joyful to celebrate each day that I have worked at Wickham. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be your child’s school principal.
I am very proud of the staff at Wickham Elementary and know that they will continue to work tirelessly to provide a high-quality education for your children. I will finish this school year as the Wickham principal, and transition to Weber on July 1. I look forward to making many lasting memories with the students and staff at Wickham in these next few weeks of school and I will continue to be one of Wickham's biggest cheerleaders.
With gratitude,
Amber Daubs
