A Message From MS Leadership
Dear Families,
May is a month filled with many celebrations that recognize our staff and our students! We kick off with Teacher Appreciation Week (May 6th - May 10th). Please join us in thanking our dedicated and passionate educators. We are truly honored to have the privilege of working with such an incredible group of teachers. We celebrate all that they do each and every day for our students and school community.
It is hard to believe we are in the first week of May. The school year is drawing to a close, but our students have a lot left to accomplish before June and some great events to look forward to! As always, we encourage you to review your student’s grades in Schoology. Finishing the year strong is extremely important.
Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teachers or school counselor.
With warmest regards,
Allison Parry, Principal (alparry@insightpa.org)
Kelly Watts, Assistant Principal (kewatts@insightpa.org)

Counselors' Corner
The middle school counselors are working hard this month to support our students as they finish the school year strong! The month of May will be devoted to wrapping up our social-emotional learning survey data with one final survey administration at the end of the month. We will also be working with students in Counselor Connection to continue our Digital Citizenship mini-series. If you missed the Learning Coach session on this topic, you may check it out here.
Lastly, the counselors will be exploring students' interests and strengths and how that can connect to short-term goals and long-term future career goals. We are encouraging students to be intentional with their time and energy so summer break can be both leisurely and productive!
