A Note from Your Principals
November Attendance Data
As we wrap up another successful month of learning, we wanted to take a moment to CELEBRATE our students' fantastic attendance in the month of November!!!
Before we celebrate, a huge thank you to all of our families for their unwavering commitment to ensuring that students are present and ready to learn each day. Your partnership and diligence in minimizing avoidable absences and scheduling appointments at the beginning or end of the day has made a significant impact on your child's education.
🎉🎈✨Now for the CELEBRATIONS!!!!💪🤩👏
- Currently only 28 students are considered "chronically absent". That's 5.5% of our population and within the acceptable limits set by the State Department of Education. This is the first time since before the pandemic that we've seen a number this low!
- Our average daily percent present was above 95% (95.99) for the third consecutive month! That means we've met the state goal every month of this school year so far!
- Grade 3 and Grade 5 are tied for the least amount of students considered "chronically absent"...with only 3 each!
- We have over 100+ students who continue to have PERFECT attendance, not missing one of the 61 days of school offered!
We know that regular attendance is key to academic success, and we truly appreciate the efforts you make to support this important goal. We know December is a month filled with festive fun and holiday celebrations but let's make the last month of 2024 a great one and head into 2025 with this incredibly solid foundation we've built!
Keep up the great work!
Flash Food & Toiletries Drive
December 16th - December 20th
Tis' the season to be giving...
The week before holiday break, the Ambassadors will be hosting a "flash" food and toiletries drive. Each grade level has been assigned specific non-perishable foods and toiletries to donate. Please see the above photo for the grade-level assignments.
There is a contest K-2 and 3-5 to see who can donate the most food/toiletry items and the grade-level that wins gets extra recess. We have a goal to collect 100 items per grade.
We hope everyone has an amazing winter break!
