GLOW GAZETTE
NOVEMBER 18, 2024
MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Students & Parents,
With holidays and breaks just around the corner, these upcoming weeks are essential as we approach the end of 1st Semester. Our teachers are making the most of each day, and your student’s daily attendance is key to finishing the semester strong and ensuring they’re ready for the new year’s opportunities.
A few important reminders:
- Tomorrow is the last day to donate gift cards for Williams Academy families in Western NC. Thank you for helping us make a difference!
- Our PTO Friendsgiving Teacher Appreciation Lunch is coming up. We’d love your support—please sign up if you’d like to contribute.
- Rising Phoenix Night is this Thursday, November 21st. This is a great chance to explore our high school programs and pathways. Don’t forget to RSVP!
Believe it or not, it’s also time to start planning for the 2025-2026 school year. While our College Access Team is already hard at work with our seniors, we’re excited to begin planning with our 8th-11th graders as well. There are many wonderful opportunities ahead, and we’re here to support your student every step of the way beginning with our Rising Phoenix High School Preview and Dinner scheduled for Thursday. You can read more about this event in the newsletter below. We hope to see you there!
Wishing you all a great week ahead!
Kate B. Tayloe
Principal
