EDL is our after school program that begins on October 21st and runs on Mondays and Wednesday from 4:00-5:45. Licensed teachers run enrichment activities that tap into student interests while also supporting academic and social learning.

Registration forms were sent home in backpacks on Monday. We need the forms returned as soon as possible so we have an accurate count for planning. If we get 100 students registered we were told that we would be able to provide bussing. Until then families will have to pick up.

As part of our EDL program we are excited to announce that we will have a Lego League team for fourth and fifth graders. If you child is interested in Lego League please return the registration form that will be coming home tomorrow.

Our partnership with Hamline University brings lots of fun experiences for students to participate in on the college campus. The week of October 21st, all students will be taking tours around the campus to learn about what college life looks like. We are two campuses but one community in the heart of the mighty midway! If you would like to join us let your child's teacher know.

Please join us on Thursday, Oct, 10 from 5:00-7:00 for some fun family activities. Dinner will be served and a short presentation will be given about our Title 1 funding and how it supports our school.
