In an effort to create life-long learners, the staff at Westridge Elementary School, working closely with parents and community, strives to realize each child's fullest potential in the areas of personal, social, intellectual, emotional, and physical development.

Dear Westridge Families,

We have a few more dress-up days next week from the Walk-a-thon. They are:

October 28th- Walk-a-thon Dress-up Day: Pajama Day- All classes

October 29th- Walk-a-thon Dress-up Day: Hat Day- All classes

Also, fall parties will take place on Thursday, October 31st. Students are welcome to wear costumes during the parties. However, students should be able to change into the costume easily with only minimal adult assistance. Please no hair spray, make-up, or weapons of any kind. Students should also not wear their costumes to school. If they have a base layer that they want to wear to school that is fine, but they should not come dressed in their full costume. We will have our annual fall party parade. Weather permitting, we will start by coming out the doors by the playground and go all the way down to the district office building on Glenn St. We will head east on Glenn St to 206th St. Then we will come back to the building on 206th, and enter back into the building through the main doors. We will start the parade at approximately 2:35. Students will return to their classrooms once they have completed the parade and will be dismissed at our regular dismissal time.

Finally, congratulations to Lily White. She is the winner of the 24-25 Westridge Spelling Bee! Lily will go onto compete at the District Spelling Bee on Thursday, November 21st. Congratulations Lily and good luck!!

Hello Westridge Families!

Our next PTO meeting will be next Tuesday, November 12th at 6:30pm in the Westridge Library, childcare will be provided. The 12th is the second Tuesday of the month. Typically, we meet on the first Tuesday of the month. However, due to the presidential election on November 5th, we are moving our next meeting to the 12th.
