GALWAY SPIRIT WEEK
CANNED FOOD DRIVE
The SGA is sponsoring the annual can food drive. Support our students and our community by donating at least one can. The student leaders have set a goal of 2000 items and have reached 50% of their goal. Thank you for supporting their efforts.
THE GALWAY BEE HIVE
The classroom spelling bees are completed. On Monday, the grade-level competition for grades 2-5 occur at 9:30 am. The school-wide competition is January 22 at 6:30 pm.
FAMILY MATH NIGHT
We want to thank the Family Math Night Committee for a fun-filled evening of math activities. The committee members are Ms. Stevenson, Mr. Albinson, Ms. Kelly, Ms. Grant, Ms. Mitchell, Mr. Wendling, Ms. Zipp, Ms. Whaley, Ms. Foust, Ms. Pritchard, Mr. Aaronson, Mr. Helfgott, Mr. Eig, Ms. Sol, and Ms. Wang. A special thanks to all the families who participated in the event. We also want to thank Ms. Rodriquez and Ms. Stevenson for the informative parent meeting about the school improvement plan (SIP). All items in the Lost and Found will be discarded during the winter break. Students may check for lost items during the day. Parents may check for items before or after school.

CLOTHES FOR CASH
Clothes for Cash is a fundraiser that supports classroom libraries. Support the school by bringing your discarded clothes to the white clothes bin. Donate your clothes to the school by placing them in the white bin near the soccer field when you clean out your closets.
