Dear Copper Beech Families,
This week was certainly very fun and engaging for our students. The pictures speak a thousand words! We had a wonderful time at our annual Halloween Parade! We loved seeing your students engage in all of the planned activities during your parties and activities as well. We appreciate all of your involvement in our school community and wish you a wonderful weekend!

Welcome Ms. Doctor!
Ms. Doctor will be our new Assistant Principal at Copper Beech. We are so excited to have her with us. You may have already seen her out and about in our school community or at the parade this past week. She has already gotten to know so many of our Copper Beech Cougars! Bully Prevention: Our Character Pledge theme for November is Responsibility. If you spot your child being responsible, be sure to praise them!
Parent-teacher Conferences- Here is the letter that went home to families.
Non-Violent Conflict Resolution- As part of our CB CARES program, students will participate in Bullying Prevention class meetings and character lessons and learn about Copper Beech’s Anti-Bullying rules. CARES is our school-wide approach to positive behavior. It promotes good character development and behavior in children – Cooperation, + Attitude, Respect, Empathy, and Safety = CARES. In recognition of Non-Violent Conflict Resolution Week, students will participate in the following activities:
Copper Beech will celebrate Peace Week by having student representatives read a CARES message each day for morning announcements.
Students will review and sign the Copper Beech CARES Peacemaker Pledge with their parents/guardians at home. Students will sign a CB CARES Constitution in school, which will be posted in each classroom.
On Wednesday, November 8, 2023, the school community will wear “Purple for Peace.”

11/13-11/17 Book Fair- The Copper Beech Book Fair will run November 13-17! Please use THIS LINK to sign up to assist with shopping at student's class times. Students will shop during their regularly scheduled library times, the Book Fair will also be open to parents who are in school to attend American Education Week events, and there will be a family night from 4-8 pm on Friday, November 17. We hope to see you there! More information on the CB Book Fair and accepted forms of payment are available on the Book Fair website.
