TMS Families,

We are excited to welcome students back in the building and kick-off the 2024-2025 school year! Fall is certainly an exciting time of year and we enjoy hearing the band and all start of Fall sports. This school year we will continue to celebrate all of the great things happening at TMS through our newsletter and our social media accounts. Please be sure to take a look at the information within the newsletter. We are off to a positive start and we hope that everyone has a had a smooth transition back into school mode.

Below are a few reminders about Friday night football games. We want to create a positive environment for all parents, students and community members.

Students are reminded that no students are permitted to sit on the hill during football games. Students should sit in the bleachers and are invited to sit in the rows behind the HS student section to participate in chants and cheers. Students are to be in the bleachers by kickoff, and remain in the bleachers until 2 minutes remain in the 1st half of the game. Students should return to the bleachers by the start of the 2nd half.

As always, we remind you that we are here to support our students and parents. If we can do anything to help in anyway please do not hesitate to reach out.

Tornado Pride...We Don't Stop!

Throughout the school year we would like to take the opportunity to celebrate our TMS staff! We are blessed to have so many dedicated and hardworking educators. Each month we will work to highlight one of our staff members and commend them for the job they do.

This month we would like to recognize Mrs. Ott. Mrs. Ott is a technology teacher at TMS and this year is teaching App Creators and Tech Studio. She is the mastermind behind our student created announcements. She has also dedicated herself to the success of PBIS throughout the building and district. She is commended for her hardwork to serve students and create unique opportunities for them through the use of technology. This year she is also creating new learning opportunities for students by participating in Project Lead the Way and teaching a new course called App Creators. Mrs. Ott shares that what she enjoys most about working at TMS is that "at TMS we are a family." Mrs. Ott enjoys gaming, Lego and traveling with family.

Join us in celebrating Mrs. Ott and all she does to help create a positive learning environment for TMS students! Thank you Mrs. Ott!

Cooper, TMS Facility dog, is PAWSitively excited to be back with his students and staff! Spa Day came right before school, so he is squeaky clean and looking forward to putting a great paw forward! Wednesdays in September: KONA ICE will be available for purchase at lunch every Wednesday during September! All proceeds go towards the Student Council.
