Summer Kids Connection Program enrollment opens on March 17, 2025

This year's summer program will run for ten weeks from June 9, 2025 to August 13, 2025 (end date tentative-dependent on 2025-26 school year calendar). During the summer, a full day program is available at the Community Education Building from 7:00 AM-6:00 PM and is open to children having completed one year of Kindergarten or Young 5’s through those entering 6th grade in the fall.

We look forward to providing a fun and exciting summer for all participants and are actively scheduling field trips and activities for the students. The scheduled activities so far include:

• Kona Ice (All-time favorite)
• IQ Hub: Agricultural Center
• Burchfield Park
• St. Johns Park & Splash Pad (2nd-6th grade classrooms)
• Potter Park Zoo (Kindergarten-1st grade classrooms)
• Chuck E. Cheese
• Preuss Pets
• Several more to come!

March 21-31: Spring Break (No School)

April 1: Classes Resume

April 22: Kindergarten Round-Up Parent Meeting, PAC 6:30-7:30 p.m.

May 5: HMS Parent Orientation (6th grade in 2025-26), 6 p.m. HMS Media Center

May 26: Memorial Day (No School)

June 1: High School Graduation (MSU Breslin Center - 1 PM)

June 3-4: High School Exams (Half Days - HS only)

June 5: Last Day for ALL Students (Half Day)
