Senior Class Year-End Information

As we approach Memorial Day Weekend, I wanted to share with you all the senior dates again. I included some new information: Senior Flex Meeting, Laptop Return, Last Day of Classes, Graduation Rehearsal, and Graduation Dress Code information. In the newsletter, you will see some information repeated: Luncheon and Senior Walk, Senior Breakfast and Senior Awards, and Graduation Information.

It's a very exciting time of the year and I want to ensure that you have all the information. Please reach out with any questions.

On Tuesday, May 27, during flex (10:45-11:15), there will be a meeting for all seniors: Early College, SUN ATI, and full-time high school students to review the upcoming schedule of events.The meeting will be approximately 20 minutes and will be beneficial for all details regarding the end of the year events. I understand that there are some field trips or other end of year events taking place, so there might be a conflict for some students.

The last day of classes for the senior class is Wednesday, May 28. At the end of the day, students should return their school issued laptop to the ticket booth. Our technology department will be there to receive the device, charger, and bag. If you are unable to return it on Wednesday, May 28, then you can turn it in on the morning of Thursday, May 29 before the senior walk.

The senior walk has become a tradition that provides our students with a trip down memory lane as they walk through the elementary schools, the middle school, and the high school. Even if students haven't been in Lewisburg for all these schools, their accomplishment showcases to younger students the excitement and significance of graduation. Students will wear their caps and gowns as they move through the buildings.

• Lunch on the Lawn: 11:15 AM, Thursday, May 29
• Menu: Pizza, chips, soda, water, ice cream
• Load Buses to Middle School: 12:00 PM
• Senior Meeting in Auditorium: At conclusion of the walk
• Following the meeting: Seniors will receive 13 commencement tickets

All seniors are required to attend Awards Ceremony.

Senior Breakfast:

• Location: Bucknell University; Bostwick Cafeteria
• Time: 8:00 AM
• There is school transportation from the school, if needed. Please meet in the front office by 7:45 if you need transportation to the senior breakfast.

Awards Ceremony:

• Location: LAHS Auditorium
• Time: 10:00 AM

Graduation rehearsal is required for all seniors to attend and it will take approximately 1 hour. We will review the ceremony details.

Rehearsal:

• Location: Sojka Pavillion at Bucknell
• Time: 1:00 PM

• Dress shirt, pants, socks and shoes.
• Dresses, skirts/pants with blouses, and shoes.
• Make sure your cap and gown is ironed prior to the ceremony. (They become quite wrinkled in the package."
• Wear your graduation cap so that the mortarboard is flat on the top of your head. Place the tassel on the right side. You will move it to the left as part of the ceremony.
• Signs and notes on graduation caps or gowns or any part of the body are not permitted. Remember this ceremony is for all the graduates and their families.
• All students will be subject to a final review of their attire prior to the ceremony.
• Students who are not appropriately attired will not be allowed to participate.

Graduation Information:

• Location: Bucknell University; Sojka Pavilion
• Tuesday, June 3, 2025
• Student Arrival: 6:15 PM
• Ceremony Begins: 7:00 PM
• Tickets per Senior: 13 tickets
• Tickets will be available for senior students after the senior walk.
