Laura Doherty - 2nd Grade - Laura moved back here last year from Pennsylvania with her family. In PA, she was teaching ESL students. She has also taught Kindergarten, Second Grade and Spanish! Asombrosa (Awesome)!
Cassidy Jansch - 3rd Grade - Cassidy has just recently graduated from UVEI. She has been at CES for the past 5 years as a paraprofessional.
Connie Locke - Nurse - Connie was a surgical nurse at DHMC. She lives in the Upper Valley with her family and is looking forward to joining our team!
Tracey Koehler - Librarian - Tracey was at the Windsor VT School District. She lives in VT with her family. She is looking forward to incorporating new ideas into the CES library!
Amy Morse - Music - Amy comes to us from the Mascoma High School! She was at the high school for the past 4 years and is now at EVS and CES! This is her 26th year of teaching overall!
Samantha Hitt - Paraeducator - Samantha lives in a quiet part of Canaan with her husband and two children who also attend CES. She loves her chickens, cake decorating, crocheting and crafting. We are excited she is here to join us!
Kacie Varner - Paraeducator - Kacie and her family come to us from Virginia. Kacie worked in schools in Virginia as a substitute and as a paraprofessional in a preschool classroom. Kacie loves to make and decorate cakes. YUM!
Gabby Pierce - Paraeducator - Gabby graduated from MVRHS this past June. She is starting online classes at UNH this fall for elementary education. She is excited to get in and learn all she can!

Drop Off and Pick Up!
Parents of preschoolers - Drop off and pick up are always in the front of the school. Wait outside on the front lawn and a teacher will come out to pick the preschoolers up. At pick up, please wait on the front lawn until the teacher brings the preschoolers out. AM preschool is 8:00am-11:30am and PM preschool is 11:45am-3:00pm.
Families in grades K-4 who come to school by car, please drive back around the school to unload by the gym doors. Only students who are walking on foot to school may enter through the front door. Please remember you can not drop students off before 7:30am (when a staff member comes outside to unload cars). Dismissal starts at 2:50 with the same procedure as the AM for car riders.
