Presidents' Update
Dear MTA families!
What an amazing celebration for the Fall fundraiser on Friday night! Loved seeing all the families, teachers and even our Owl mascot made an appearance.
We can’t thank the co-chairs - Kati Seyk & Kelly Richards - enough for spearheading this event for MTA! They already have ideas on how to make it even better next year! If you would like to be part of the committee next year, please reach out!
Free dress day is 11/21 (Tuesday)!
Here is what is happening now:
- Evereve:
- Shop all day for MTA!
- Stop by Evereve at the Biltmore and 15% of purchases benefit the school.
- Join me from 5-7 for some bubbly while you shop! See you there!
- Pies for Teachers + Staff: (Click here to sign up!)
- Bake or pick up a pie and drop it in the front office tomorrow or Tuesday for our amazing MTA team!
- 1 pie = 1 hour!
- Make sure your NAME is on it so we can credit your account.
- Any questions, email: mtaguildboard@gmail.com
- Guild Meeting:
- Our next Guild meeting is 12/11 at 6:30 pm in the MTA cafeteria.
- Logo items + uniform items sale beforehand.
- Most uniform clothing items are $1 so totally worth swinging by!
- Membership Drive:
- Want a free MTA car magnet? Join the MTA Guild (starts at $10!) and show your support for all the initiatives we provide our school, students, teachers and staff.
- The Guild helps fund and plan annual events like the ArtWalk, Parent Social and Sweetheart Dance, purchases specialized air filters for each classroom, funds the Owl-Star assemblies + awards, gives our teachers a $100 check to help fund their back to school needs and funds our Specials programs (Art, Music and P.E.) with equipment, supplies and so much more.
- The membership is an annual contribution via this link.
- Raptor: Thank you for your patience with Raptor. The hours are now viewable for parents. Yay! There is a delay for hours manually being added in so give us a few weeks to catch up. If you received an email regarding your hours in error, send us an email: mtaguildboard@gmail.com
- We strongly suggest you keep a log (ex: Notes app in your phone) of your hours should there be a discrepancy.
- Also- please sign up for hours using your name in Raptor. We are unable to assign hours to a name not in the system. If a teacher is crediting your hours, make sure they are using your correct name also. Thank you for your help with this.
- If you are having technical issues (password, etc.) with your Raptor account, contact Liz Hernandez at the District office at lhernandez@madisoned.org or call 602-664-7959.
Wishing everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
