New date announced: Community Connections on Oct. 10!
Blue Valley community members have an opportunity to engage with the Board of Education from 6-7 p.m. on the new date, Oct. 10, at the Blue Valley District Office.
Community Connections gives Blue Valley community members an opportunity to talk with Board of Education members in a less formal setting. Hosted at various schools around the district, the round-table conversation format allows for great conversations about topics of interest in the community.
A sign-up is available for patrons who have questions for board members, but no sign-up is required to attend. More information about Community Connections with the BOE is available on the district’s website.
Prairie Star Middle School seventh graders bring a snowplow to life!
Seventh graders from Prairie Star Middle showcased their creativity and teamwork by bringing a unique, student-designed concept to life on a City of Leawood snowplow.
Hudson Skilling’s design, selected through a vote among his classmates, served as the foundation for this inspiring project. From initial sketches to the application of vibrant colors, these seventh graders transformed this essential vehicle into a striking piece of art that reflects their collective vision.
"Whatever you want to do can be possible, and if you have the right amount of people and you all set your mind to it, it can turn out really good." – Hudson Skilling, Prairie Star Middle

"All In BV" sponsorship program: Supporting Blue Valley students
At Blue Valley Schools, we’re committed to supporting the passions and talents of our students through athletics and activities. To strengthen these programs, we are excited to introduce the "All In BV" sponsorship program, a new initiative that connects local businesses directly with our high school athletics and activities. Through this program, businesses can make a meaningful impact on the experiences of our student-athletes and activity participants, ensuring that every contribution enhances their growth, teamwork and success.
Businesses that partner with us will not only gain visibility within the community at all Blue Valley sporting events but also help create lasting, positive change in the lives of our students. By transitioning to this unified sponsorship approach, we ensure that every dollar raised goes directly back to benefiting our students.
