A WORD FROM OUR PRINCIPAL, DR. WILLIAMS
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome back! I hope you and your families had a restful and enjoyable holiday break, filled with time to recharge and create lasting memories together. As we step into the new year and the second semester, let’s work together to support our students in achieving their goals and making the most of the months ahead.
The start of a new semester is like turning the page to a fresh chapter. It’s a chance for students to refocus, redefine priorities, and recommit to doing their very best. Success begins with the small choices they make each day, and it’s important to encourage habits that support their aspirations.
Arriving on time to classes is one of the simplest yet most impactful steps they can take. Punctuality demonstrates responsibility and respect, setting the tone for a productive day and keeping them on track with their studies.
This semester, we encourage students to take ownership of their learning by staying focused and giving their full effort in class. Curiosity, active engagement, and consistent study habits are key to mastering new material and building confidence. Your support in helping them establish a daily routine for reviewing notes, completing assignments, and preparing for lessons will make a significant difference.
Challenges are a natural part of the journey, offering valuable opportunities for growth. When difficulties arise, please remind your child that they are not alone. Our teachers, counselors, and school resources are here to provide support and guidance to help them succeed.
As we reflect on our shared goals for this semester, let’s work together to encourage our students to become the best version of themselves. Whether it’s through academic achievements, participation in extracurricular activities, or acts of kindness, every effort contributes to a brighter future for them and their community.
Let’s make this semester a time of progress, perseverance, and positivity. With dedication and teamwork, I am confident we can accomplish amazing things together.
Here’s to a fantastic second semester filled with learning, growth, and success. Thank you for your continued support and partnership.

🍁 Fall Festival 2024🍁
A Huge Thank You to Our Amazing Community!
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the families, students, and staff who came out to support our annual Fall Festival. It was truly wonderful to see everyone engaging with our community, even as the rain poured outside. Your enthusiasm and support made it a memorable event!
Special thanks to our incredible Truitt staff who generously donated their time and resources to help run stations and ensure everything went smoothly. This event simply would not have been possible without your dedication.
A big shoutout to Cy Falls High School for sending their outstanding PALS and National Honor Society students to volunteer. You are the real MVPs! From setting up and decorating to running stations and cleaning up, your hard work made a huge difference. Dr. Smith and the entire school are so very grateful for your support. 💖
This was the first time Timberwolf Theatre was named among the top 3 schools in the UIL competition.

Car Rider Guidelines
In an effort to ensure student safety, the following procedures are to be followed:
All drivers must refrain from cell phone usage. It is a school zone law.
We must keep the circle part of the pickup area clear for emergencies. Please do not pull into the circle until directed to do so.
All cars must pull all the way forward to the end of the drop off and pick-up zone.
We have limited parking, and it is reserved for our Truitt staff. Please do not park in these spaces.
Please do not drop off or pick-up by the bus ramp.
Please do not drop off or pick-up students on the street. Yorkpoint Dr. is not a drop off point.
As you exit the parking lot make sure you turn right ONLY.
Follow our staff members directions.
We share the car rider line with our Special Education buses, please be patient. They enter on the right side.
Line should only be on Hamstead Park. Not coming in from Addicks Satsuma.
Please be kind. Do not block the driveways and do not skip the line.
We appreciate your assistance with keeping our car riders safe!
