25/26 AP Capstone Program
ATTENTION FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORES, applications are currently being accepted for the 25/26 AP Capstone Program.
All successful AP Diploma students earn college credit, stand out in the highly competitive college application process, and develop transferable skills to potentially continue their research as an undergraduate. AP Capstone students are mentored as they grow in confidence as independent thinkers and skillful problem solvers. Personal integrity and respect for the scholarly endeavor is paramount in all AP Capstone candidates.
The Capstone courses (Seminar and Research) do not teach a specific subject, but rather use an interdisciplinary approach to develop truly valuable skills like how to think critically, how to conduct scholarly research, how to collaborate with peers, how to manage time and meet expectations and how to construct and deliver informative and dynamic presentations with confidence and clarity.
The program consists of two classes taken sequentially and over the course of two years (either sophomore and junior years or junior and senior years).
