Thank you for a great first week! Please see my reminders below:

- Please put your child's name in their uniforms! Everyone has the same sweaters, so please label everything!

- DO NOT double park for dropoff or pickup. Dropoff starts at 7:30am. Students who are dropped off before 7:30am will be charged for before school care.

- September 12 -- 6pm Virtus Training Session -- You MUST pre-register

- September 14 -- 4pm Mass at St. Patrick's Church followed by dinner!

- September 16 -- Picture Day! (Students in Grades 1-8 must wear their formal uniform NOT gym)

- September 16 -- Guatamalan Independence Day Celebration

Great First Week

We had a great first week! Students have already began their learning adventures in their classrooms and are getting use to the routine at LCA. I am so proud of our students for how easily they got back in the swing of things. They are also making our new students feel welcome!

First Mass

Fr. Paul said our first school Mass on Friday morning. Students were attentive, participatory and extremely respectful in the church. I was very impressed with how quiet and respectful students in grades 1-8 were when they entered the church and I am looking forward to their continued participation in our School Masses.

Building Progress

One of the highlights at the end of Mass is when Matt, our Project Superintendent for the New LCA comes to speak to all the students about the progress being made on the new building! He informs us what has happened and then tells us about what is happening. He also takes student questions! The students had lots of great questions about where their classrooms would be and we enjoy hearing from Matt with all the updates!

We capped off a great first week with a visit from the Kona Ice Truck on Friday afternoon! What a great way to celebrate the fantastic first week and how well all our students did! All students were full of smiles and so happy to have a special treat during the first week!

Please remember to fill out all the forms that come home! There were colored papers handed out at Open House/sent home and forms for the nurse!
