A big thank you again for all the generous donations to our Fun Run! We had a blast on Hat Day, and the whole school cheered when I got slimed last week—it was a moment to remember! This month, we've been focusing on the theme of Friendship. Each student is making their own MCH friendship bracelet, and a special shout-out goes to our 5th-grade leaders for their reminders on the morning announcements about being a good friend.
Next Monday, we’re excited to welcome representatives from The Philadelphia Union soccer team for our first assembly of the year! They’ll be teaching us about sportsmanship and teamwork on the soccer field, so make sure your child dresses appropriately for the outdoor event.
Looking ahead, Parent-Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thanksgiving week:
- Monday, 11/25 from 1-4 PM
- Tuesday, 11/26 from 1-4 & 5-8 PM
- Wednesday, 11/27 from 8-11 AM
Students will have early dismissal at 12:10 PM on these days, and lunch will NOT be served. There is NO SCHOOL from Wednesday, 11/27 to Friday, 11/29. Keep an eye out for an email from your child's teacher on Monday, November 4th, with more details and a sign-up link.

The West Chester Area School District has a tradition of offering high-quality extra-curricular programs for students. To support the costs of these programs, an Activity Fee is applied to extra-curricular programs supervised by a contracted coach, advisor, or director.
The elementary fee for students who wish to participate in activities including chorus, band, orchestra, and after school sports is $28. Most of these activities are only available to students in grades 3-5.
