Staff Update
We are excited to welcome Mrs. Jackie Brock to our Christ Lutheran School faculty as our 6th grade homeroom teacher for the upcoming school year! She brings a passion for teaching and a heart for Christian education. We look forward to the blessings she will bring to our students and community
----
My name is Jackie Brock. I grew up in the heart of the Kansas City area, where my love for learning (and a good plate of barbecue!) first began. I attended William Jewell College, studying business and later earned my teaching certificate from Ottawa University. After living in Denver since 2004, I’m excited to be heading back home to Kansas City as my husband’s job is bringing us full circle.
Over the past 21 years, I’ve had the joy of teaching grades 1 through 5, with a special love for language arts. Helping students discover the power of words and their own unique voice has always been one of my favorite parts of teaching.
Outside of the classroom, I’m a proud mom to three amazing, grown kids and a very lucky grandma to seven energetic and delightful grandkids. My eighth will be arriving in July. When I’m not spending time with them, you can usually find me out digging in the garden, taking a walk with our dog Bella, cooking something new, playing the piano, diving into a good book, or enjoying some great music (bonus points if I can sing along!).
Teaching has been one of the greatest joys of my life, and I’m so grateful for the wonderful students, families, and fellow educators I’ve had the chance to work with on this journey. I’m excited to be joining the Christ Lutheran School family and becoming a Griffin. I’m looking forward to getting to know all of the students and their families.

Hello Athletic Griffins -
Your Track team is loving this springtime weather as we traveled to Blue Springs this past Tuesday to participate in the annual Timothy Ram's Run.
The course was challenging and a little mushy, but the Griffins worked hard and ran fast!
This Saturday, the Track and Field Team will head to Pleasant Ridge Middle School to run at our Mock Meet! The event will start around 8am and last throughout the morning in order to provide our athletes a marvelous chance to set some expectations and have some fun as we to prepare for our future meets. If you'd like to help out with our meet, please sign up HERE!
