Ambler Elementary Summer Update #2

Parents,

I am excited about my 25th year in leading Ambler for the 24-25 school year. I am very proud of my outstanding staff which includes talented teachers and wonderful support staff. My awesome Leadership Team includes AP Brandi Roberts, RC Courtney Vaughan, and Rise Facilitator Kim Wilson. We have sweet Ambler children who work hard to please their parents and teachers. We have wonderful parents who support our teachers. We have a strong PTO Leadership Team headed up by Kala Ward. Also on the Board are Adair Nations, Keni Kelly, Savannah Corn, Rosie Merck, and Dana Lyda. Together we all shine at Ambler as we build a strong foundation to prepare our students for middle school.

Parents of returning students should have received an email from FinalForms on July 1, 2024.

• Please use the link in the email to access and sign 2024-2025 forms for your returning student.

• IMPORTANT: CURRENT SDPC STUDENTS SHOULD NOT REGISTER AS A NEW STUDENT.

  • If you do not receive an email from FinalForms for your RETURNING SDPC student, please DO NOT register your student as a new student in FinalForms.

  • Please contact your child's school so they can assist you with gaining access to update your child's information in FinalForms.

Mrs. James will hold two volunteer trainings at Meet the Teacher on Tuesday, July 30th. You may attend the 5:30 p.m. or 6:30 p.m. session. The training should last about 20 minutes. This is required if you plan to chaperone a field trip during the 24-25 year.

We will be pre-ordering Ambler shirts at Meet the Teacher Night. T-shirts will cost $20 with the exception of Adult XXL, which will cost $22. Please pay in cash (exact change) or with a check made payable to Ambler Elementary. The last day to order shirts will be on Wednesday, August 14th.

The first day of school for students is on Thursday, August 1st, 2024. Our doors will open at 7:30 a.m. The instructional day will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will end around 2:15 p.m.
