Bond Update - November 2024
Track Update
After our final home football game, the finishing touches will be put on the track. If everything goes to plan, we expect the track to be finished in December. Stay tuned for more information about an opportunity to join us in January for the first lap around the new track!
Tennis Courts
We are looking at options on where to relocate the tennis courts, and that decision should be made in the next week or so. We are excited about finalizing those plans so construction can start in early 2025.
High School Update
I hope you had a chance to watch the video we sent out about the new high school If you didn't, you can watch it here! We continue our planning work to finalize the design for the school. Just like with the tennis courts, we hope to have all the plans finalized before Christmas break, and to see the start of construction in early 2025.
We will keep you updated every step of the way, right until we are ready to welcome students for the 2026-27 school year!
I am so grateful for your support of our schools!

Meetings with HS Students about the new HS design
We also met with all the JH students about the new HS design this month!
In addition, we were able to meet with all 4th & 5th graders about the design.
The students are very excited about this new HS!
The Henrietta ISD community overwhelmingly approved a $36 million investment for a new high school and improvements to athletic facilities on May 4, 2024.
Henrietta ISD Superintendent Jaime Clark stated, "I am so excited for the future of Henrietta ISD and the opportunities these facilities and upgrades will provide our students for generations to come.”
Board of Trustees President Brad Yurcho conveyed gratitude, stating, "This success began many months ago with a community-led Facility Committee of parents, staff and community members who met to ensure all students in Henrietta ISD continue to have access to modern classrooms and innovative programs..”
With voters approving both propositions, the projected tax increase is 23 cents per $100 valuation. This tax rate will still be lower than the 2022 tax rate.
