It's Fall Break! We can't wait to see you back on October 14.
From the Principal...
Dear WVMS Community,
What a fantastic week we've had here at Western Valley Middle School! Our Wildcats showed up in style for Spirit Week—rocking pajamas, dressing like their favorite teachers, and getting creative with the "Anything But a Backpack" day! It was so much fun seeing all the school spirit and creativity from our students.
Our staff also had a blast! We wrapped up the week with a friendly rock, paper, scissors challenge, and a big congratulations to Ms. Ariana for taking the win!
This week was also special as we kicked off National Bullying Prevention Month. Our sixth and seventh graders had the opportunity to learn about the different types of bullying and how they can be a part of the solution. A huge thank you to notMykid for speaking with our students on Tuesday and returning Wednesday to meet with our parent community to share more helpful information.
As we head into fall break, we hope everyone takes some time to relax and enjoy the season. Thank you all for making WVMS a great place to learn and grow!
Warm regards,
Dr. Stephanie Nardi
Principal

Home Game Information
Support Our Wildcat Athletes at Home Games – Important Information
We are excited to invite you to join us in cheering on our Wildcat Athletes during our upcoming home games on campus! Your support means the world to our students, and we look forward to seeing our stands filled with enthusiastic fans.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please note that students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the entire duration of the game. No students should attend any WVMS home games without an adult. Any students who remain on campus without an adult will be sent home.
This policy is in place to maintain a safe environment for all and to ensure that our home games are a positive experience for our entire community.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued support. Let’s come together to show our Wildcat pride!
Important Cell Phone Policy Information...
FESD Policy:
Electronic devices including, but not limited to, cell phones, handheld devices, media players, watches, earbuds, or other similar gadgets are not allowed to be used or displayed during the school day, from the beginning to the end, unless a staff member specifically instructs or permits their use for educational purposes. It is important that these devices do not disrupt the learning
environment, compromise safety, or affect the well-being of others. Please note that the school district cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of such devices, and students bringing such devices to school or a school event do so at their own risk.
To maintain a focused and respectful learning environment at Western Valley Middle School, we have a clear policy regarding cell phones and wearable tech:
- All cell phones must be turned off and kept in backpacks throughout the school day. This includes lunch, recess, and passing periods.
- If a cell phone is seen out during the school day, it will be confiscated. The phone can be picked up by a parent or guardian (not the student) in the office after school or before school the following day. This policy will apply to each offense.
- Wearable technology, such as smartwatches, will be subject to the same policy if they become a distraction.
