A few weeks ago, ARS welcomed students from Cary Grove High School to work on a special project with our students. Together, they explored what it means to be thankful. Many of our students expressed gratitude for things like family and friends, which was heartwarming to hear.

I also had the privilege of working with one of our 3rd-grade classes on a discussion about community. The students identified qualities like supportiveness and kindness as essential aspects of a strong community. One of the most impactful moments was hearing the students share that it’s okay for members of a community to be different—we support and value each other just the same.

Fox River Grove truly is a special community, and I am so thankful to be part of it.

As a school, we look forward to connecting with families next week during Parent-Teacher Conferences. Wishing you a restful and enjoyable time off!
