Parent/Teacher Conferences - October 24th and 25th
Information will be coming out soon about how to sign up for conferences. Here are a few tips to help you navigate the time with your child's teachers:
- Have a conversation with your child about the conferences. What do they see as their strengths? Areas of struggle?
- Make a list before the conference of questions and concerns
- Be on time - so you have enough time to address everything!
- Ask for clarity if you don't understand the answers given to you.
- Ask for specific suggestions on how you can support your child at home with homework, reading, organization, routines, etc.
- Have a conversation with your child when you get home and create an action plan together to have a successful year.
- Keep in touch with the teachers throughout the year to stay on top of progress
- Ensure you have access to HAC and schoology to monitor grades frequently
