Course Selection for 2025-2026 School Year!
Beginning Tuesday, March 4th at 2:30 pm the online request portal in PowerSchool will open for you to enter your course requests for the 2025 - 2026 school year. The portal will close on Wednesday, March 12th at 5:00 pm. Below are important links to the Program of Studies, PowerSchool instructions, our Time Management Calculator, and the Scheduling Documents/Timelines.
Over the past week, your teachers at the high school have submitted recommendations for you into PowerSchool. Teachers recommend courses and levels that both challenge you but that also offer you the best opportunity for success. We strongly encourage you to consider your teacher’s recommendations when signing up for courses. However, if you have not been recommended to take a course you were hoping to enroll in, please complete the Override Consideration form located in the Scheduling Documents/Timelines link below. You will be allowed one override request. Override forms are due by Friday, March 14th.
Please note that course requests can be entered from both the parent and student portal, but the data entered in one will overwrite the other. We recommend you collaborate with your parents and only enter requests under one account. Also, courses are not assigned by a first come, first served basis so it can be completed any time within the window for picking courses. And again, this window doesn't begin until next Tuesday. If you have any questions, please contact your school counselor.

Senior Parent Celebration Photos
Class of 2025 parents... it's time to start reminiscing and scrolling through pictures of your soon-to-be 2025 graduate. Save some of your favorites to a folder on your phone, iPad or computer so you can access them easily.
Starting March 1st, the Class of 2025 website will have a link where you can access a google form to complete and upload your photos for the Senior Slideshow which will run during the SENIOR PARENT CELEBRATION AT GILLETTE on May 28. The deadline to upload pictures is April 8. We will be looking for 4 photos per student: one baby/toddler, one from the elementary years, one senior portrait, and one group shot.
We have over 300 students in the class. With 4 photos per student, that is 1200 photos that we Slideshow Ninjas need to collect, organize, potentially edit and thoughtfully assemble for the slideshow. We will need all the time we can get. So, the sooner you submit, the easier you will make life for us!
Our goal is to collect photos from all Class of 2025 students, whether they’re attending the Gillette event or not. A link to the completed slideshow will be shared with all Class of 2025 families.
All the information will be in the google form come March 1st. But if you have questions, please reach out to your Slideshow Ninjas hhs2025pix@gmail.com.
