Welcome Back! Welcome Back!

Tuesday, September 3 - First Day of School Tuesday, September 3 - First Day of School

To our returning East End families, welcome back! And to our new East End families, welcome to East End! We are so glad you are here, and we cannot wait to begin a year full of joy and learning!

School begins on Tuesday, September 3. Please note that for the 2024-25 school year, the entry time is 8:10 - 8:20 am. We ask that students arrive as closely to 8:10 as possible. Additionally, dismissal is at 2:40 pm (as opposed to 2:35 pm previously). These slight changes mean more instructional time for our students each day!

Families will also receive a packet in the mail in late August with important information for the new school year. Kindergarten and Pre-K packets were mailed August 22. Grade 1-4 packets are being mailed August 27. This packet will include a welcome letter, allergy letter, attendance letter, lunch information, and a name tag. The name tag is an important way we keep things organized during the first week of school. Please place the name tag on your child's shirt on the morning of the first day of school.

The welcome packets will have the homeroom number that your child is in. In order to see your child's teacher, you must log in to the Genesis Parent Portal. Information for the Genesis Parent Portal can be found here. Parents that have not logged on before, can enroll using this link. You will need the student ID of your child, which can be found in the welcome letter. Once enrolled, parents can log in to the Genesis Parent Portal here.
