NEWSLETTER | TERM 2| WEEK 6 | 24 MAY 2024
When Jesus is understood in relationship with Spirit as presence, wisdom, and power, we can experience Jesus as a dynamic figure, one related to God’s mysterious activity and one who dwells with us, always present.

Hi Everyone,
Confirmation last week was just an amazing and reverent celebration, and our prayers and best wishes are with the Year Six students and their families. A big and beautiful step forward on your faith journey.
Preprimary playground is almost unrecognisable! Thank you to band of volunteers, led by P&F President Rose for your hard work. This reset is just amazing.
Another beautiful week of weather, who can believe it! Big congratulations and thankyou to our Year Three Gang and their teachers Alex and Trish for this morning’s assembly - what a hoot! It was tremendous fun!
Next week sees our Year Two assembly take centre stage, and it is a fitting farewell to our teacher of the Year Two Dominic Gang Sophie Stajka who is returning to live in England. This will be her last day. Her husband Alex has been appointed Assistant Academy Coach to Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club. Sophie, thank you for being a great teacher and great fun! We wish you and yours every happiness and every success for the new adventure!
Have a great weekend

National Simultaneous Storytime
What a fantastic National Simultaneous Storytime yesterday! Mrs Butson and Mrs Capolingua transformed the library into a vibrant wonderland, getting every class excited about "Bowerbird Blues." Plus, a special visit from Mrs Capolingua’s beautiful wiero, BOO, made the day even more magical!
Senior Chess Tourament
We law large crowds of spectators at the first day of the Senior Chess Tournament! A big thank you to Mrs Butson for all the work that goes into organising the lunch time tournaments.
Oh the possibilities...
I am kind, respectful, a future engineer, an artist, a doctor, a firefighter.... The possibilities are endless for our Pre Primary students!
National Simultaneous Storytime was a special treat in the library on Wednesday, with Ms Capolingua bringing in her beautiful weiro BOO to visit as we listened to “Bowerbird Blues”.
Our first group of Year Five Book Clubbers have had a fabulous start and Senior Chess round 1 wrapped up. 52 students played chess over 3 lunchtimes and winners from these games will play next week in round 2.
All book reorders from the Scholastic Book Fair have now been delivered to the students in their classrooms. Please email me if you have any queries.
Have a lovely weekend!
