It was an intense week of STATE MANDATED Keystone Testing and the conclusion of AP Testing. The students brought their intensity and work ethic this week. All indications are that the FORDS will continue to be a School of Excellence! Test scores do matter but we are so much more than standardized tests!
Seniors-Free Graduation Lawn Signs are in the main office. Also, the Free Senior Decision Day Breakfast is this Thursday. Please take a look at the event information below. There is no such thing as a free lunch, but we have free breakfast for the Class of 2024!
- NEXT FRIDAY IS AN 11 AM Dismissal! We will have all four blocks!
Class of 2024 News
Senior Dues
Senior Dues are $50 this year. Senior Dues will be paid during the weeks of May 6th and May 13th in the main office. Cash, Check, or Money Order to Main Office. Free and reduced lunch students are free. The dues do not include a yearbook.
Graduation
- Graduation is June 6th at 6:00 at St. Joseph's University.
- Each student receives 6 tickets. You can distribute your six tickets in any way that you wish. If you need additional tickets you have to make those arrangements on your own. 6 tickets per family will put St. Joseph's at their maximum limit of attendees. As always, we livestream graduation.

All students interested in participating in the HHS Jazz Ensemble or Jazz Lab Band during the 24-25 school year must complete a video audition this spring (due June 9th). See Mr. Fein for a printed version of the material.

Tech Dues
With the end of the school year on the horizon, we would like to bring to your attention the technology obligations that your student needs to fulfill in order to graduate.
To graduate, the following obligations must be met:
- Pay the 2023-2024 Student Technology Fee - 12th Grade - $30
- Return the school-issued Chromebook and Charger in working condition at the Drop Off event (June 4th, 2024)
These two requirements must be completed before your student is allowed to pick up their cap and gown. NOTE: These requirements are separate from Senior Dues.
The Chromebook Drop off and Cap and Gown pickup event is on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024 (9:15AM - 12:00PM) in the HHS Gym Lobby.
This senior tech fee can be paid online here or by cash or check. Checks should be made payable to SDHT or The School District of Haverford Township.

ATHLETICS UPDATE

- Boys' Volleyball lost a tough match to Unionville in the District 1 playoffs. They had a great season finishing in the top 5 in the District.
- Softball team won the Central League Championship on Monday evening with a come-from-behind victory over Conestoga! This is their 3rd straight CLC! THey are ranked 5th in District 1 and will play a home game next Wednesday in the Round of 16.
- Boys' Baseball made the District 1 Playoffs for the 1st time since 2016! They are currently ranked #15 in the District and play Monday in a home playoff game vs. Pennridge! See below-WEAR RED!
- Boys' Lacrosse lost a heartbreaker to CB East in the District 1 Playoffs 4-6. They were the 24th seed and almost upset the 10th seed. They had a great season!
- The Girls' Lax team had a great season and just missed the playoffs. They finished the season with 2 wins and beat Merion Mercy 16-2 to go out on a high note.
- The Girls' Track and Field team is the Central League Champions! They won the CLC at last Wednesday's meet! They have been impressive all year in both track and field events and are looking to repeat as State Champions!
- Boys' and Girls' Track is at Coatesvile today in the District 1 Championship. We are awaiting the results.
